YAID-Ghana Humanitary Association

Solidarity Tourism and Ecotourism Solidarity with AJDI TOGO

Solidarity tourism is thus a tool for helping local development of the traveler's home territories.

The entire project (tourism activity and development programs) is developed and managed in close and balanced partnership with local communities and their representatives. The traveler is thus guaranteed that the sum he pays creates employment and income for the local population and also for the autonomy of the organization; immersion trips in typical villages, itinerant tours, treks, hikes, or many other activities à la carte ...!

Our basic circuit is located at the Sanguera, we have humanitarian projects this summer in a host village for our Volunteers or Tourists in the days to come, during your participation and frank collaboration on this project will serve us more in our project touristic ; so we only tell you that you are welcome among our family.

Goal solidarity tourism

-Promote responsible tourism that respects the norms of fair and equitable tourism while promoting Togo and its surroundings in their socio-cultural diversity;

 - Feel privileged to discover circuits, thanks to passionate guides, all the rare places and the authentic cultural practices that a simple tourist discovery never allows. Add to that, we want to give travelers a desire to turn into a donor and investigator of a humanitarian and development project;

 -Favor donations of medical equipment, school supplies, sewing machines, dryers, computers, etc .;

 - Put the expertise of travelers to the benefit of the host community (advice, capacity building ...), mobilize, educate and train young people;

 -Participation in traditional festivals and cultural events.

Yes, a visitor discovers a country marked by the diversity of its physical and human characteristics. The tourist will not be insensitive to the beauties of the country changing to the rhythm of the seasons and, if he is a poet, he will find a source of inspiration. Plains of various origins and ages, with varied aspects, plateaus and hills of the Atakora are all sites of choice for the walker, of interest to the geographer. The ethnographer will be able to comment on a population which, though small in number, is made up of a multitude of ethnic groups with sharp and perennial cultural characteristics, despite the penetrating influence of the modern world. The historian will learn that this ethnic diversity has its origin in the turbulent past of this narrow strip of land that was long a refuge corridor between the Ashanti Empire in the west, the kingdom of Abomey more recent in the East and the old empires and kingdoms Mossi in the North.

According to your wishes and your available time, you will be able to cross Togo with AJDI, from the North to the South, with stages in the various unmissable sites of the country. We propose you two circuits of solidarity tourism of 9 days or 15 days to discover this magnificent country still little known of the world of the tourists, a destination which remains entirely virgin which you should rush to discover before the tourist boom !!! It is a real concentrate of the richness and the diversity of Togo that we propose you through our itineraries. Then all you have to do is choose your favorite circuit!
